Kelvin van der Linde will be behind the wheel of an Audi when the opening round of the Australian GT series gets underway in Adelaide next weekend. The South African will share the #74 Jamec Pem Audi R8 LMS with Geoff Emery who returns to racing after 10 months on the sidelines while he recovered after a serious crash in Perth.

The Audi pair will be part of a 27-car grid for the Clipsal event which will run in conjunction with the opening round of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

Vand der Linde is not the only factory driver in the line up. Come Ledogar, the Blancpain Endurance champion, will be teaming up with Fraser Ross behind the wheel of the Tekno Autosports McLaren 650S GT3.

The Australian GT Championship cars will compete in three 40 minute races at the Clipsal 500 from March 2-5.
