For the second day in a row it was a Peugeot 1-2-3 on the stage. This time it was Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena who led them across the line at the end of stage five. They were 22 seconds ahead of Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz with yesterday’s stage winners, Stephane Peterhansel and Jean-Paul Cottret, in third.

Nasser Al Attiyah and Matthieu Baumel were again best of the rest, bringing their MINI home in fourth ahead of Leeroy Poulter and Rob Howie in their Toyota Gazoo Racing Hilux. Geniel de Villiers and Dirk von Zitzewitz were seventh behind Mikko Hirvonen and Michel Périn (MINI).

In the overall standings Loeb and Elena still lead the car category from Peterhansel and Cottret.  Sainz and Cruz have moved up to to third to make it a Peugeot 1-2-3 in the overall standings as well. Al Attiyah and Baumel are now fourth ahead of Poulter and Howie with de Villiers and von Zitzewitz in sixth.
